Advantages of Wall Mounted Lithium Battery
Low weight
Lithium batteries have higher energy density than lead-acid batteries, enabling them to hold more storage capacity in a smaller space. If you want to use lead-acid batteries to power the same system, you must install 8 lead-acid batteries. However, lithium batteries weigh only half as much as lead-acid batteries, making them easier to install in a more compact space.
No active maintenance
The wall mounted lithium battery has many advantages. Unlike lead-acid or nickel based batteries, they do not require active maintenance and do not release harmful gases. They are also safe to use in enclosed areas because they do not release hydrogen or oxygen. In addition, they do not require regular ventilation or cooling, which means they can be safely stored anywhere.
Low energy loss
The low energy loss of wall mounted lithium battery is achieved by increasing the battery temperature. The increase of temperature reduces the amount of lithium ions diffused into the lithium oxide lattice, which will lead to lower capacity loss. The study shows that the capacity loss of the electrode at 45 ℃ can be reduced by 8.4 mAh/g, and the coulomb efficiency is 96.4%.
Durability
The life of lithium battery depends on its use mode and charging and discharging frequency. Under normal operating environment, lithium battery will have 60% capacity in 10 years. However, overcharging lithium batteries can lead to thermal runaway and capacity loss. Similarly, extreme cold can cause the internal electrolyte to lose fluidity, resulting in reduced power output and low charging efficiency.
