Lithium battery maintenance

Mar 08, 2023 Leave a message

Due to the fact that lithium batteries are memoryless batteries, customers are advised to regularly charge or recharge the battery pack after each or every day of riding, which can significantly improve the service life of the battery pack. It is recommended not to cycle until the battery pack cannot discharge electricity before charging. It is not recommended to discharge more than 90% of the battery pack's capacity. When the undervoltage indicator on the electric vehicle lights up while the electric vehicle is stationary, it needs to be charged in a timely manner.
When starting an electric vehicle, walking on steep slopes, dirt roads, or strong upwind conditions, it is recommended that customers use pedal assistance while riding to maximize battery and motor life.
The capacity of the battery pack is measured at a normal temperature of 25 ℃. Therefore, in winter, it is considered normal to exert the battery capacity and slightly reduce the driving range. It is recommended to charge the battery pack in a place with high ambient temperature in winter to ensure that the battery pack can be fully charged.
When an electric vehicle is not being ridden or parked, it is recommended that the customer unplug the battery pack from the electric vehicle or turn off the power lock. Because the motor and controller may consume power under no-load conditions, please avoid wasting power.
